- Make sure you're playing on a supported device
- Make sure you have the latest update for the app
- Check your device's internet connection: toggle WIFI off/on
- Turn the device off and back on
- Force close other applications that may be running in the background
- Uninstall and reinstall the app
- Make sure that you are on the most recent operating system for your device
