Game Update Highlights

  • Alchemy: Lorwyn [Y26-ECL] has arrived!
  • Introducing Elemental Frame Styles - a unique Arena-only style treatment!
  • New basic land bundles are available in the store featuring classic art from Lorwyn and Shadowmoor.
  • Included with the new Grub, Storied Matriarch Brawl deck available in the store, 6 new Goblin cards have been added to Arena! Boggart Harbinger (LRW), Mad Auntie (LRW), Tarfire (LRW), Murderous Redcap (SHM), Goblin Piledriver (ORI), Auntie's Hovel (LRW).

Notable Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue in Deck Details where a deck’s format dropdown was hidden behind other UI elements, making it impossible to change the format of an existing deck.
  • Fixed an issue where Companions (the cosmetic) were not appearing in the “Select Companion” equip screen if navigated to from Deck Details.

Game Updates

  • Sideboards in Best-of-1 are no longer restricted to 7 cards. Sideboards can now be up to 15 cards, matching Best-of-3.

Bug Fixes

General

Fixed an issue where Companions were incorrectly considering cards in the -Sideboard for Companion eligibility for games 2 and 3 of a Best-of-3 match.

Gameplay

  • Cards like Leyline of Transformation weren’t applying additional creature types to earthbent lands. Now that land can also be an Advisor or Detective if you want.
  • Updated Princess Yue’s “moon” name when she returns as a land. Yue already means Moon though. Sokka should have seen it coming.
  • Raiding Schemes granting Conspire to other spells was causing issues with some alternate casting costs.
  • Opponent’s Badgermole Cub was playing VFX on your lands. That was excessive and has been addressed.
  • Secret of Bloodbending now adds a few automatic stops. 
  • Benevolent River Spirit was costing too much to flip if it was manifested. Who was manifesting this card? I’m pretty sure just that one guy.
