We have launched a new tool to improve the bug reporting process. You can check out the new bug reporting site here.
Why did we make this change?
1. Transparency. This tool allows us to connect bug submissions directly to our internal bug tracking software. This helps us keep you updated on when a bug is verified, when our development team has started fixing it, and even when the bug has been fixed and is waiting to be deployed.
2. Direct Communication. This tool lets our Developers and QA folks talk directly to you, which makes it easier for them to follow up if they have a question about the bug you reported or to share information about a workaround to the bug.
3. Easier Submissions. Previously, every time a customer wanted to send us a bug report they had to fill out a form. Now it's much easier to search and see if someone else has already submitted the same bug. If they have, you can just vote to indicate that you've experienced the bug too. It also makes it easier for us to tell which bugs are impacting the most customers.
How to use the new tool:
When you visit feedback.wizards.com you'll see by default threads with the most recent activity sorted to the top. If you've experienced a bug that you want to report just start typing some of the details into the "Bug Title" search bar. This will automatically search existing threads that contain those key words:
If someone else has submitted the bug you wanted to report already, just click the vote button so that we know you've experienced that bug as well (after you log in with your MTG Arena account). You can also leave a comment if you'd like to add to the conversation about that bug.
If it looks like no one else has submitted your bug yet, click that "Post a New Idea" button and let us know what your bug is. Thanks for taking the time to submit the report!
What do I do if I need further help from a customer service agent about the bug I experienced?
This new tool is meant only for reporting bugs. If you are experiencing issues with your account or with an order, are unable to login, or otherwise need customer support, please contact us here, choosing an option other than "Report a Bug (Powered by UserVoice)"
