Notable Bug Updates
- Direct Challenge Issue Update: We have finally been able to reproduce the bug on our development environment, and are working on getting a fix in as soon as possible. Thank you to all those who helped to provide reports and information as we worked through this. Please stay tuned for updates as we hope to be able to get the fix in as soon as next week.
General
- Timeless format will be released with the following play events:
- Ranked (Best-of-One)
- Traditional Ranked (Best-of-Three)
- Unranked Play (Best-of-One)
- We’ve updated how Reimbursements work for Banned or Restricted Cards that are printed at multiple rarities.
- You’ll continue to be reimbursed the full quantity of Wildcards for the cards in your collection affected by Bans or Restrictions. However, we now will be reimbursing you the rarity of the card based on the highest rarity of the banned or restricted card(s) in your collection.
- Historic Brawl has been renamed Brawl throughout the game to better reflect this unique format.
- The format’s ban list was closer to Timeless than Historic, but any other format name would be at least partly wrong. So now Brawl stands on its own
- The name for Standard Brawl is not changing
Gameplay
- We've updated the Raid badge to "turn on" visually if the ability is active.
- We do a better job of recognizing when there are no legal X values for a spell, and not showing it as castable in those cases.

Bug Fixes
General
- If a new player actively makes progress on a Jump-In Quest and the event changes, they will now be able to continue making quest progress on the event.
Gameplay
- Spells copied by Zada, Hedron Grinder weren’t triggering Ral, Storm Conduit. Given that triggering Ral is like, the whole reason you’d play them together, we have squashed the beef between them (Ral apologized) and now they’re getting along.
- Fixed an issue where in very narrow cases abilities shared by permanents that are shared with cards exiled by Agatha’s Soul Cauldron would be unable to activate all abilities that require removing counters to pay multiple times.
